If you are a busy hair stylist or barber on the Treasure Coast, I can come to your location and make your shears as sharp as when they were new. I bring all of my equipment with me and set up a mobile station on site. Many people like this aspect because they can see how the process works from start to finish.

I also sharpen all styles of knives. I will typically perform knife sharpening at my workshop unless there is a large quantity of knives. I can pick the knives up if you are local or you can send them by mail. Turn around is quick and I keep you updated throughout the process.

I sharpen on the Katoku Sharpening System, which is a flat hone sharpening machine. I use Japanese Water stones to work or restore ride lines on convex shears so they function as smoothly as possible.

The higher quality steel allows you to maintain the edge longer so you don’t have to get sharpened as frequently if done properly. I have a display case available upon request. You are welcome to use the shears to try them out while I am sharpening for you. Can’t decide? I will let you borrow a pair for a week and try them out.
